The Role:
The Digital Experience Frontend Developer will develop best-in-class website experiences for our clients. Reporting to the Vice President of Digital Experience, this person is responsible for partnering with Technical Account Managers in executing frontend website development tasks utilizing best practices. They should be familiar with common frontend languages; including HTML, CSS, Javascript, and/or React.js or Next.js.

You will work closely with our team of engineers across several platforms spanning Content Management Systems (CMS) and eCommerce. The Frontend Developer will own a set of assigned tasks across clients, and be responsible for building solutions based on defined requirements, and/or debugging issues based on defined outcomes.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $85,000 - $115,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).

You Will Be

  • Participating and contributing to daily stand ups and regular sprint planning
  • Following agile practices in partnership with Technical Account Managers, Solution Specialists, DevOps, and Backend Developers as features are developed for the client's website
  • Work across 3-5 clients based on specific and similar tasks requested by those clients, e.g. updating Hero Banner, Building Payment Module, etc.
  • Write clean, well-designed, and efficient code
  • Address code defects by investigating and debugging issues to achieve resolutionDevelop responsive frontend code that adapts to both web and mobile devices
  • Executing on a set of engineering tasks focused on the frontend, including Javascript, HTML, CSS, and React.js
  • Completing additional duties as required, e.g. feature code reviews, feature estimates, etc.

You Must Have

  • Completed a web dev bootcamp or similar experience
  • 3+ years of working experience as a frontend engineer with a focus on web development
  • 1+ years working with modern, popular front-end frameworks; including next.js
  • Experience with Headless website development
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and/or CSS
  • Experienced knowledge of APIs, including GraphQL
  • A passion for learning and problem-solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Have:
  • Experience working with Git (please include your GitHub link in your application if applicable)
  • Working experience with any combination of Wordpress, BigCommerce, Shopify, and/or Adobe Commerce
